Issue 7

Jim Kirchner is very proud to have gotten through this issue without once invoking the overused line about how "writing about music is like dancing about architecture." Oh wait...now that doesn't count, does it? It does? Aw, shoot...

Cheryl Peltier-Davis is a librarian at Western Washington University.

Margaret Fast is an associate professor and reference/instruction librarian at Western Washington University where she works with art, languages, and history. She hopes that one day the people of the world will laugh together and treasure whimsy.

Allen Frost is the author of Ohio Trio and Bowl of Water, among other things.

Jeff Purdue, in addition to immersing himself in the films of Ozu, also took on a parallel comprehensive study of downtown Vancouver's Japanese restaurants. The uni at Musashi and the kabocha at Guu are every bit as memorable as Late Spring.

Jon Dillon works in the library systems department at WWU and also slings html for Habits of Waste.
