“Also in the pipeline is a re-issue of the Field Mice compilation, which continues to outsell the Trembling Blue Stars albums despite not being anywhere near as good. We've been selling off the last few "sleeveless" copies of it but, now summer's over, it's much too chilly for any of that sort of nonsense, so it's officially, albeit temporarily, deleted. We can't just do a straight re-issue, though, because the factory where all the parts were made turned into a giant wombat at the start of May, and spent most of the summer trampling through the Surrey commuter-belt devouring everything in its path until finally being cornered and shot by police just outside Godalming. No, not really, I was just checking to see whether anyone actually bothers reading this far - it actually just went bust, but the net effect is the same, i.e. we're going to have to start from scratch. In short, it won't be ready for a while yet... I'm waiting for Bob to send some sleeve ideas.

And I think that's probably all you deserve.”
