John Kimsey, Ph.D., serves as Assistant Professor in DePaul University's School for New Learning, where he teaches and writes about modern literature and popular culture. He has also worked as a professional musician and once discussed the writings of Ishmael Reed with Dr. John the Night Tripper.

Said Shirazi wakes up in the middle of the night to research public schools and steal music. His writing has recently appeared on the web at Mr. Beller's Neighborhood and is forthcoming at Flâneur.

Hazel Cameron is a librarian at Western Washington University. She is considered an expert in business and economic information, although she also enjoys engineering. In her spare time she dreams of retiring early and enjoying an "island lifestyle."

Jeff Purdue isn’t half chuffed at the start of the English Premier League and Football League seasons. He co-edits Habits of Waste.

Jon Dillon is the Cut and Paste Engineer at Habits of Waste. He works as a reference specialist in the library at Western Washington University.
